Bureaucrodeath

About a month ago I made a transcript request by fax to the University of Waterloo. Three weeks later I hadn't received my transcript, so I phoned to check it out. No record of having the fax, but if I send another request right away it will be sent asap...blah blah blah. So I fax another request and this time it turns out I'd like to cancel that request. So I call and someone in the Registrar's office tells me they 'get hundreds of faxes a day and really have no way of keeping track of them' there is also no way of putting a note on my file that the request has been cancelled if they ever do find the fax. So a document with my credit card number and signature on it is not being kept track of somewhere in the depths of the Registrar's office at UW. But don't expect to get your grades if you owe the library $2!
